Scientific engagement may be defined as the development of recipro.cal scientific partnerships for the common good, between those seeking external expertise and providers - other companies or universities that have the required expertise or know how to satisfy the particular business needs.
With extensive scientific contacts Consult-igma is ideally positioned to develop scientific engagements on behalf of clients. A major advantage and strength of Consult-igma is our reach through an extensive network of over 500 contacts in the science based community. Within these contacts are over 150 organisations throughout the UK, Europe and to a lesser extent North America. Contacts developed throughout 35 years experience within the scientific and analytical sciences community much of it spent resolving industrial and analytical business needs and development in support of research initiatives and manufacturing.
We have many contacts in major industries, within university research departments and leaders in their fields, instrument manufacturers and vendors, science based consultancies and other organisations and learned society’s, including the Royal Society of Chemistry, Chromatographic Society and the Society of Chemical Industry; together with a business network that includes contacts within government, local authorities, agencies, and within business development and support, including local links through Rotary and our own Second Fridays Entrepreneurial and Business Networking Group for Romsey and surrounding areas.
