OUR FIFTH ANNIVERSARY
May 2003 – May 2008
This month Consult-igma Ltd celebrates it’s Fifth Anniversary, with the consultancy continuing to go from strength to strength, from both the client and the consulting base, with the past year being our most successful to date.
New technology reviews, scientific support and engagement have continued to be our most requested work areas, covering a diverse range of applications from nanotechnology to energy.
Apart from our consulting and reviewing activities we have attended a number of seminars and conferences over the year related to our core activities, including the Bioanalytical Forum at Guildford University, Big Prep (HPLC) at AstraZeneca, Megatrends in the Food Industry at the SCI and meetings on Sustainability and Open Innovation – the latter being held by the Innovation Advisory Service at the Royal Society in London, where major companies such as Thales, General Electric and Philips discussed their various approaches to open innovation.
Additionally in the past year, Consult-igma Ltd supported and organised the highly successful Chromatographic Society ‘Informatics & Data Visualisation Conference at the Intech Science Centre in Winchester in March, which was attended by over 65 delegates. Feedback from delegates was overwhelmingly positive, and a few of the comments received can be viewed on the Testimonials page.
Finally, but most importantly, we would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has supported Consult-igma Ltd in our first five years; with special thanks to our existing clients who have given us numerous consulting projects and to Analytical Data Services Limited, Eastleigh, who gave us our first contract. We would also like to acknowledge and thank support from The Peter Jenks Partnership, Right Coutts Business Consultants (Fareham), Southampton Enterprise Hub, Nelson Press, Pailthorpes Chartered Management Accountants and Blake Lapthorne Tarlo Lyons Solicitors and our colleagues in the ‘Fridays’ Business and Entrepreneurial Network for their support with our own Second Fridays, which will re-launch in the autumn.
